Cyclist Released from Hospital After Head-Injury Crash in Woodinville

A crash involving a cyclist and a small truck in one of the main intersections in Woodinville last week left the rider with a head injury, according to Woodinville police.

A crash involving a cyclist and a small truck in one of the main intersections in Woodinville last week left the rider with a head injury, according to Woodinville police.

The crash took place in the northeast quadrant of the intersection of NE 175th Street and 131st Avenue NE at approximately 5:42 p.m. April 3.

The two reportedly collided as the cyclist was riding east across the street and the truck was turning right (north) on 175th Street.

The cyclist, who police say was not wearing a helmet, was transported to a hospital with a head injury after hitting the pavement. The collision is being investigated by King County’s Major Accident Response and Reconstruction Unit (MARR).

The cyclist has been released from the hospital, police said.
