Farmer Frog is a nonprofit agriculture education and food distribution organization located in Woodinville at Paradise Farm, Paradise Valley Conservation Area. With our community partners, we currently serve over a million and a half people across the entire state of Washington and beyond.
In April 2017 we signed a seven-year lease with two renewal cycles equaling a minimum of 21 years with Snohomish County to headquarter our farm education and food service operations at Paradise Farm. After seven years the lease was supposed to roll into a second term.
While we were hoping to extend the lease, last week Snohomish County sent us a termination letter stating that they need to use the area in a different way. This means we are now moving the ENTIRE FARM which has serious costs for Farmer Frog.

We are reaching out to ask the Community for help.
When we began our work at Paradise Farm, we spent 18 months just removing garbage and cleaning up the site. It had no hoop houses, very little fencing, no solar panels, just a handful of very old fruit trees.

So now, we are packing everything up, dismantling our buildings, and our fences, digging up our trees and shrubs and beautiful flowers and moving them to another site.
We have been able to secure a new location in Snohomish, near our Distribution FLOOR off of Treosti Road and have named it BearGrass Farm. The place has no buildings, fences or greenhouses however which means we must start from the ground up.
BearGrass Farm will be over four times larger than Paradise Farm therefore, over time, we will expand our operations to serve even more people than we currently are.
We need to install over two miles of fencing and put up animal housing for our amazing livestock guardian dogs, hundreds of sheep, goats, chickens, turkeys, ducks, rabbits and more! $20,000
We are in the process of moving the hoop houses, gardens, and orchards. $20,000
Permitting and construction of three VersaTube pole barn structures. $60,000
We are grateful to you and will do our best to continue food distribution service programs uninterrupted as the season unfolds.
