Man Uses Craigslist to Solicit Sex During Lunch Hour — Woodinville Crime Report

The victim reported his locked vehicle was entered and his money, groceries, clothing, and paperwork were stolen.

2.      Fraud – 13300 blk of NE 171st ST.

The victim reported finding a job on Craigslist as a personal assistant and was immediately sent a large check in excess of the salary, with direction to deposit the check and send the remaining funds back to an address in Annapolis.  The bank found the check to be fraudulent and closed his account. The victim has received threatening text messages from an unknown suspect inquiring about the cash. 

3.      Larceny, Shoplift – 13000 blk of NE 175th ST.

Two unknown suspect(s) worked together as they shoplifted a rack full of cigarette lighters. One suspect made a purchase while the second suspect carried the rack outside and hid it behind a garbage can.  The suspects were seen placing the stolen property into a vehicle and driving away.

4.      Injury Accident - 13900 blk of NE 178th Pl.

Officers investigated the report of a vehicle accident with a pedestrian in a motorized wheel chair in the parking lot.  The pedestrian was taken to the hospital for minor injuries. 

5.      Vandalism - 15700 blk of 126th Ave NE.

Unknown suspect(s) threw a rock through the victim’s kitchen window.

6.      Larceny – 19200 blk of 144th Ave NE.

An employee of the business arrived early to work to find a subject stealing scrap metal from the recycle bin. The suspect left the area in a red and white truck with a canopy that had the windows broken out.  The business has repeatedly been the victim of metal theft.

7.      Burglary, Commercial– 19200 blk of 144th Ave NE.

An unknown suspect threw a rock through the glass door of the business, attempting to steal a generator but left when the audible alarm went off.

8.      Burglary, Residential– 14800 blk of NE 173rd St.

The Victim returned home to find the front doors of her home pried open.  The house was ransacked and her purse, jewelry and Kindle were stolen.

9.      Trespass- 14000 blk of NE 145th St.

Officers received a report that a man had placed an ad on Craigslist soliciting sex from both men and women, asking to meet in the parking lot during the lunch hour.  Officers located the ad on the internet, along with the requestor’s photo and later found the man in the parking lot. He admitted to placing the ad to meet up with someone for a sexual encounter. He was trespassed from the property.
