Northshore School District: Cricket Interest Survey

Cricket is a game that is commonly played by students from and in India, Pakistan, the United Kingdom, Australia, New Zealand, West Indies, South Africa, and more. The sport is becoming increasingly popular to the point that clubs have formed across the United States, including men’s and women’s U.S. National teams.

In Northshore, families have expressed interest in adding the sport as an option for their students in the District. While it is not an official District sport at this time, we are discussing this option for the future. This interest survey is now available to gain feedback from families about the creation of a pilot program this spring that would be open to all middle and high school students. This pilot will help inform the District on the possibility of including cricket as an official Northshore School District sport in fall 2022. The interest survey will close Friday, March 4.
