The team will be among 160 teams qualified to compete. To get to this point, the students Daryoush Washburn, Nick Sykes, Andrew Brooke, Kai Tom, Mason Stuart, and Yousef Tirhi spent thousands of hours of development and testing to be able to compete at such a high level. While competing in the finals matches the Woodinville team worked with another team from Texas to capture the world record of 363 points! The duo put four matches in the top 10 world scores as well.
Robotics Coach Tim Swartz said, “This season has been exhausting, yet so worth it with the team taking home many awards and nominations ranging from engineering to programming and community outreach. It has been five years in the making to get to this point, and we are thrilled to have all our hard work pay off.”
