Online Voter Registration Deadline Ends Monday for August Primary

Monday, July 8, will be the last day to register to vote or update voter registration information online or in person in time for the Aug. 6 primary election, according to King County Elections.

In-person registration will continue through July 29 for those who are currently not registered in Washington.

Woodinville voters will help decideย oneย primary and one ballot measureย this August:

-King County Executive:ย Alan E. Lobdell,ย Goodspaceguy,ย Everett A. Stewartย andย Dow Constantineย 

-Proposition No. 1: King County Parks Levy

There will also be a primary for the District 1 seat on theย Northshore School District board of directors featuringย Marci Cheesebrough,ย Kimberly D'Angeloย  andย Julia Lacey.

King County offers the following information about voter registration for the Aug. 6 primary and special election:

King County Elections will mailย primaryย ballots to all registeredย votersย onย July 17, so itโ€™s important that citizens register toย voteย and keep their address and other information, including their signature, updated.

Visiting theย Voterย Registration Annex, 500 4th Avenue, Room 311, in Seattle, weekdays fromย 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.ย and fromย 2 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.

How to register toย vote

Votersย who miss theย July 8ย deadlineย to update their registration should still contact the Elections office to update their information for future elections. King County residents not currently registered in Washington can register in person afterย July 8ย at the Elections office throughย July 29.

Who can register?

To be eligible to register toย vote, you must be:

  • 18 years old by election day (Aug. 6)
  • A United States citizen
  • A legal resident of the state of Washington
  • Not under the authority of the Department of Corrections
