Update: Vincent Nutter In Custody, Says Snohomish County Sheriff

Snohomish County Sheriff's spokeswoman Shari Ireton has told KOMO News that deputies were trying to serve a warrant for a weapons violation to Vincent Nutter, 22, a man wanted by the Snohomish County Violent Offender Task Force.

Update 9:03 p.m.: Snohomish County Sheriff just tweeted, "Suspect in custody!"

Update 8:50 p.m.:
KIRO-7 reported in a tweet that policeย have surrounded Nutter in rural area of Snohomish County and thatย Nutter is requesting police to kill him.ย 

Update 6 p.m.: ย 
Theย lockdown in the area has beenย lifted andย roads are reopening, according to theย Snohomish County Sheriff's Office. They tweeted: "We did not find the suspect. Thanks to all residents for their patience during our search." KOMO News just reported that officials will use "passive" search methods to try and locate suspect, Vincent Nutter.

Update 5:35 p.m.:
The Snohomish County Sheriff's Office just tweeted: "Deputy is on scene at a daycare that had been locked down since this started, parents are now picking up their kids."

ย Snohomish Countyย Sheriff's spokeswoman Shari Ireton has told KOMO News thatย deputies were trying to serve a warrant for a weapons violation to Vincent Nutter, 22, whoย sped away in a vehicle to the area where the search is currently taking place. According to a post from a week ago on the Washington's Most Wanted website, Vincent Nutter and his father, Mark, are wanted by theย wanted by the Snohomish County Violent Offender Task Force. Mark Nutter has been on the run since September and is wantedย by the ATF and U.S. Marshals after they searched his Shoreline home and found high-powered rifles, hand guns and drugs. The Most Wanted website says Vincent Nutter has aย has a criminal history that includes drugs, stolen vehicles and property.

โ€œRight now, we consider them to be extremely dangerous,โ€ Snohomish County Capt. Ty Trenary said. โ€œTheyโ€™ve both stated they wonโ€™t go back to prison, and have threatened to shoot it out with Snohomish County deputies. Weโ€™re concerned that the public could be at risk, which is why weโ€™d like to get them safely into custody.โ€

Snohomish County Sheriff tweeted a message just after 3 p.m. Friday saying people in the area of 180th Street and James Street, about six miles north of Woodinville, should stay inside.

"Deputies on scene looking for a suspect at 180thSt SE and James St. If you are in the area, stay inside," the tweet said.ย 

At approximately 4:05 p.m., the Snohomish County Sheriff's Officeย tweeted: "Residents in a 1 miles radius of the scene at 180th St SE and James St/Interurban Ave have been asked to stay inside."
