Brian Monahan of KIRO7 tweeted images of the radar velocity near Woodinville around 1:35 p.m. Wednesday and said there was "some weak rotation evident east of town."

Scott Sistek of KOMO-News tweeted, "National Weather Service (NWS) gives 50-50 that the Woodinville pic was weak funnel. Might see more weak ones in CZ toward foothills."

The National Weather Service in Seattle issued a short-term forecast for Woodinville and surrounding areas at 2:55 p.m. Wednesday:

A LINE OF SHOWERS EXTENDING FROM THE UNIVERSITY DISTRICT OF SEATTLE EAST THROUGH REDMOND AND FALL CITY IS SLOWLY MOVING TO THE SOUTH. EXPECT MODERATE TO HEAVY RAIN...SMALL HAIL...AND GUSTY CONDITIONS WITH THIS LINE. DRIVERS SHOULD USE CAUTION AND BE WARY OF STANDING WATER ON AFFECTED ROADWAYS.
