Morgantown Murder Investigation Ongoing After Body Round In Road
Authorities have ruled the death of a 46-year-old man a homicide after his body was found on Round Bottom Road on Saturday morning.

MORGANTOWN, WV — The Monongalia County Sheriff's Office has opened a murder investigation following autopsy results after a man's body was found in a roadway Saturday morning near Morgantown, West Virginia.
The deceased man has been identified as Michael Moore, 46, of Morgantown, the Monongalia County Sheriff's Office said Monday.
Moore's body was found on Round Bottom Road, a short street that runs along the Monongahela River south of Morgantown, around 6:30 a.m. Saturday. The body was taken to the West Virginia Chief Medical Examiner's Office, which determined Moore's death was a homicide.

The Monangalia County Sheriff's Office is not releasing further information.
