• Brenda Lucas: Community news for Wednesday, Dec. 10 (herald-dispatch.com) — Barboursville families can enjoy a pancake breakfast this Saturday, Dec. 13, from 8 a.m. to noon at the Barboursville Senior Center, where Santa will visit and kids 4 and under eat free. Hosted by the Barboursville Lions Club, the event also collects used eyeglasses for donation. The column also shares condolences for longtime community volunteer Deborah Louise Stivers-Dzierzak.
