Charleston Police Department To Hold Ceremony In Memory Of Patrolman Cassie Johnson
Roads will be closed at approximately 3:30 p.m. until the conclusion of the ceremony at Washington Street and Pennsylvania Avenue.

On Friday, December 3, the Charleston Police Department will host a small ceremony in memory of Patrolman Cassie Johnson on the one-year anniversary of her end of watch. The ceremony will take place at 4 p.m. at the CPD Police Memorial located at Pennsylvania Avenue and Washington Street at I-64.

During the ceremony, Chief of Police Tyke Hunt and Sheryl Johnson will place a wreath at the memorial before brief remarks are given. Attendees and Metro Communications will also observe a moment of silence.
