Hadassah Super South presents Hadassah OUT LOUD: Raising Our Voices Together, a tri-region conference from September 9th – 11th at the Hilton Atlanta Airport Hotel, Atlanta, Georgia. For registration, session schedule and hotel information, go to www.hadassahsupersouth.org/TriRegion 2022.

Special Hadassah OUT LOUD conference guests include Hadassah 27th National President Rhoda Smolow and Hadassah Grassroots Advocacy Director Lauren Katz who will advocate for women’s health equity, ensuring reproductive rights, combating antisemitism, and strengthening US-Israel relations. National award-winning Atlanta Author Melissa Fay Greene will discuss her book, “The Temple Bombing.” The Reform Jewish Temple bombing in Atlanta in 1958 changed the course of segregation in Georgia, opening a door toward conciliation and integration. Greene takes a unique perspective in examining the permeating phenomena of hate and antisemitism in that era and the present-day.

In a joint statement, Hadassah Southeastern President Michele Weiner-Merbaum, Hadassah Southern President Susan Smolinsky and Hadassah Southern Seaboard President Sharon Goretsky said: “Conference Co-chairs Linda Hakerem (Hadassah Southeastern), Jill Weinstein (Hadassah Southern) and Diane Bisgaier (Hadassah Southern Seaboard) have planned a powerful and awe-inspiring weekend, finding our voices, using our voices, and raising our voices together. Hadassah Super South stands 15,000-strong. We lead by example to advance women’s health equity, fighting hate and antisemitism. Utilizing education – Hadassah’s greatest strength – Hadassah OUT LOUD: Raising Our Voices Together will advocate for Hadassah’s key initiatives and values.”
