Kanawha County Sheriff's Office: Pursuit Ends In Arrest On November 1
As is always the case in criminal matters, the charges against Mr. Richardson are merely accusations.

Matthew Richardson, 33 of Alum Creek, was arrested at the end of a pursuit last night.
At 8:30 p.m. Corporal Lyons made a traffic stop on a white Infiniti at the 112 mile marker of I-77 South. While Deputies stood around the vehicle Mr. Richardson put the car in drive and fled. He reached speeds of 130 mph on the interstate, and was estimated to travel 90 mph on other roads in the Sissonville area, before crashing into a curb on Washington Street on the west side of Charleston.

Mr. Richardson fled on foot from the crashed car. Corporal Lyons released his K9 partner Djambo who caught Mr. Richardson, detaining him until others handcuffed him.
Mr. Richardson was taken to an area hospital for treatment to his injuries, then to jail on charges from the pursuit, as well as a circuit court capias in Kanawha County and other outstanding charges in Logan County, WV.
