Kanawha County Sheriff's Office: Shooting And Fire In Sissonville On November 10

November 10, 2021

A fire and shooting occurred at Hughart Drive and Sisters Lane near Sissonville this afternoon. The victim was taken to an area hospital for treatment to multiple gunshot wounds. The shooter remained on scene to await law enforcement and is detained.

An investigation into the incidents is ongoing. The shooting was part of an altercation between the two men who are known to one another, and was not a random event. The fire has been controlled by responding fire departments.
