• YWCA Resolve continues vital work helping domestic violence victims in WV (wvmetronews.com) — Charleston’s YWCA Resolve program is running its domestic violence shelter at full capacity while also helping about 1,800 people a year through shelters and the court system in Kanawha, Boone, and Clay counties. Leaders say more survivors are seeking counseling and long-term housing support, and they stress that victims need stronger attention from the courts before tragedies occur. 
• WCHS-TV's top TikTok videos of 2025 (wchstv.com) — Several of WCHS-TV’s most-watched TikToks this year centered on Charleston, including a swingers club on Greenbrier Street cited by city officials and a Kanawha County case involving a slain Charleston tobacco store clerk.
