• Marshall County opens warming centers amid cold snap (wtov9.com) — Moundsville residents needing relief from the deep freeze can warm up at the Moundsville Volunteer Fire Department, now serving as one of Marshall County’s official warming centers. Officials say about 10 people in Moundsville are consistently unhoused, and anyone using a center must arrange their own transportation and bring essentials like water, snacks, and chargers after first calling the county 911 Center.
