• Public Meeting Tuesday Will Lay Out Options for Bike Paths in Jefferson County (panhandlenewsnetwork.com) — Ranson residents are being asked for input on a new Route 9 bike path extension that would connect the current trail near Curry Road down into Ranson and Charles Town. A public workshop is set for Tuesday evening in Charles Town, and an online survey runs through January 15, 2026, to help planners choose the safest and most practical route through local neighborhoods and road crossings.
