• State consolidated lab project takes steps forward (wvmetronews.com) — A massive new West Virginia Center for Laboratory Sciences is planned for the Regional Technology Park in South Charleston, eventually bringing about 400 state workers into one consolidated facility. The $250 million project is now out for construction bids, with officials targeting a June 2028 opening and highlighting shared labs, a café, and modern meeting spaces.
