• Amery Woman Sentenced to 18 Months for Stealing More Than $500,000 from Special Needs Trust (fbi.gov) — An Amery woman has been sentenced in federal court to 18 months in prison and ordered to repay over $526,000 after misusing money from a special needs trust she controlled. Investigators say she diverted funds for personal spending, including casino trips and home projects, before Polk County officials and the FBI intervened.
