Join us Wednesday, September 22 at 10 am and hear from Fernando Almanza, co-owner and operator of Antojitos Mexicanos, a Mexican restaurant in downtown Appleton. Fernando was born in the small town of La Cañada de Caracheo, located in the central state of Guanajuato, Mexico. He immigrated to Menasha, Wisconsin in March 1999 with his family and graduated from Menasha High School in 2006. At the age of 19, he opened Antojitos with his mother, Angélica, and older sister Verónica. Verónica remains his business partner; and in 2015, they re-located the restaurant to their current, larger location. Fernando lives in the Appleton area with his wife, Kristina, two daughters and two dogs.
