Teens! Do you enjoy writing or storytelling? Enter our Short Scary Story Teen Contest for your chance to win a Kindle Fire! The contest opens Monday, September 27 at 8 am and closes Friday, October 22 at 5 pm. Winners will be announced Halloween week.

Participant Requirements:
- Must live in the following locations; Appleton, Combined Locks, Darboy, Fox Crossing, Freedom, Grand Chute, Greenville, Hortonville, Kaukauna, Kimberly, Little Chute, Menasha or Neenah.
- Open to grades 7-12.
- One entry per participant.
Story Entry Requirements:

- Work must be original and unpublished.
- Contain fictional characters.
- Max of 2,000 words (typed, double-spaced, 12 pt font, Times New Roman).
- PDF or Microsoft Word Doc only; paper copies will not be accepted.
- Content must be PG-13.
- Must be submitted via email to teen@apl.org by Friday, October 22 at 5 pm. Please include your full name, phone number and email in the body of your email when submitting your entry.
