Teeing Up For Fox Valley Technical College Students

This year, the event raised more than $110,000 with more proceeds still coming in from an online auction.

The Fox Valley Technical College Foundation welcomed 160 golfers to the links for the 33rd annual Foundation Scholarship Golf Outing. The event was held Aug. 4 at Royal St. Patrick’s golf course in Wrightstown.

The golf outing is the Foundation’s only fundraising event and is a significant source of scholarship income for FVTC students. This year, the event raised more than $110,000 with more proceeds still coming in from an online auction.

More than 150 businesses, organizations and individuals contributed sponsorships and in-kind donations this year. Miron Construction served as the Foundation’s Presenting sponsor, marking its 14th year as sponsor.

“Scholarships make a meaningful difference to our students by relieving some of the financial stress they are under, and also by giving them a confidence boost that others are investing in them and their future,” says Becky Boulanger FVTC Foundation executive director. “We couldn’t be more grateful to all of our sponsors and donors for helping us make college possible.”
