1 In Custody After Disturbance On Rolland Road In Brookfield: Police

Police said they took one person into custody on Thursday after a report of someone arming themselves at a Brookfield residence.

BROOKFIELD, WI — Brookfield police took one person into custody after a disturbance in the 200 block of Rolland Road Thursday evening, according to a news release from the department.

Officers were called out around 5 p.m. for a report of someone arming themselves with a gun and knife at a residence, the release said. The suspect had refused to comply at first, police said, but eventually, police peacefully took them into custody. Police said the safety and security of the area are restored.

Police said they plan on referring charges of disorderly conduct, battery, criminal damage to property and resisting arrest to the Waukesha County District Attorney's office.
