70's-Themed Chicken Joint Plotted For Brookfield Corners
The restaurant will sell wine and champagne, which have become popular parings with fried chicken, the co-owner said.

BROOKFIELD, WI — A restaurant coming to the Corners of Brookfield this summer will let customers pair hot fried chicken with beer, wine or champagne. Here Chicky Chicky is planned to open on the south side of the shopping center, its owners announced Monday.
The new restaurant will be owned by the same people who own Goddess and the Baker, the Chicago-based bakery and coffee shop. Their new joint will have a 70's-style aesthetic and seat up to 70 people.
The restaurant will serve staples like chicken tenders, baskets, wraps and salads, with dipping sauces unique to the location, the owners said. Beer, wine and champagne will also be served.

Champagne is quickly becoming a popular pairing with fried chicken, co-owner Tami Mizrahi said in a statement. And not just in Wisconsin — Foo Fighters' frontman Dave Grohl told UPROXX he found the delicious combination while on tour.
The Nashville hot chicken sandwich was a hit on the Goddess and the Baker menu, which was part of the idea behind the new restaurant, the owners said. The fast-casual restaurant will bank on the success of the Goddess and the Baker, which has one of its six locations at the Corners.
