7th Annual Gingerbread Build To Be Held In Brookfield

Habitat for Humanity of Waukesha County​ will hold a Gingerbread Build at The Corners of Brookfield on Dec. 4.

BROOKFIELD, WI— Showcase your sweet skills for a great cause this holiday season. Join Habitat for Humanity of Waukesha County in its smallest, and most unique build of the year. Decorate a gingerbread house (or bake your own from scratch) and it will be displayed from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Dec. 4 at The Corners of Brookfield.

Get a team together to promote your business, organization, church, youth group, or build a house of your own.

Amateur bakers, not just professional bakers, come up with unique designs.

  • Registration closes Nov. 26.
  • $40 to enter the competition.
  • While supplies last, your registration fee includes one pre-made gingerbread house and a bag of royal icing.
  • You may pick up your house at the Habitat for Humanity offices on Friday between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m.
  • Registration is available online and in person. Visit www.habitatwaukesha.org to register online.
  • Houses must be dropped off at Von Maur in The Corners by 11 a.m. on Dec. 4.
