800 Without Power In New Berlin Thursday
A few customers are still in the dark after a storm Wednesday night caused power outages in some homes.
NEW BERLIN, WI — Nearly 800 homes are still in the dark after a storm passed Wednesday night and early Thursday morning.
804 New Berlin customers are affected by two outages Thursday morning, according to a We Energies outage map.
Smaller outages dot the center of the city, but less than five customers are affected in each, according to We Energies.

Power restoration time is still to be determined, according to We Energies. "We’ve already been able to restore power to thousands of customers and will continue until all customers are restored," an energy service spokesperson told Patch.
The National Weather Service reported thunderstorms, damaging winds and the chance of tornado and hail Wednesday. Wednesday night saw showers and thunderstorms with heavy rainfall and a low of 72, according to the weather service.
