"Betty White: 100 Years Young" celebrating White and her accomplishments throughout her life will be shown in Brookfield.

BROOKFIELD, WI— Movie goers can see a "Golden Girl" on the big screen. Betty White, the iconic actress and comedian beloved by generations and best known for her roles on "The Golden Girls" and "The Mary Tyler Moore Show," died on Friday at 99.
Producers of the film "Betty White: 100 Years Young" announced plans to show a movie celebrating White and her accomplishments throughout her life called "Betty White: A Celebration." It will be released on Jan. 17, White's 100th birthday. Producers Steve Boettcher and Mike Trinklein said they hope to "provide a way for all who loved her to celebrate her life—and experience what made her such a national treasure.
"Our hearts mourn today with the passing of Betty White. During the many years we worked with her, we developed a great love and admiration for Betty as a person, and as an accomplished entertainer. We are thankful for the many decades of delight she brought to everyone. Betty always said she was the "luckiest broad on two feet” to have had a career as long as she did. And honestly, we were the lucky ones to have had her for so long," Boettcher and Trinklein said in a joint statement.
