Bomb Threats At Kohl's Stores Across Milwaukee Area: Police
People, businesses and news outlets received an email Saturday stating bombs had been placed at three local stores, police said.

BROOKFIELD, WI — Police are investigating after bomb threats were made to Kohl’s locations in Brookfield, Menomonee Falls and West Allis, according to authorities.
People, businesses and news outlets received an email Saturday stating bombs had been placed at the stores, police said. A news outlet that got the email reported it to Brookfield authorities around 5 p.m. and K-9s searched the Brookfield store in the 2300 block of North 124th Street, as well as neighboring businesses, according to police.
“The area has been deemed safe and free from any sort of explosive devices,” Brookfield police said in a news release.

Bombs were similarly reported nationwide June 2, including at Kohl's stores in Oak Creek and Milwaukee, according to WISN 12, which noted that the Brookfield and West Allis locations were evacuated Saturday.
