Adults and children alike are invited to the city's first International Migratory Bird Day celebration.

After being named a "Bird City," Brookfield is planning its first International Migratory Bird Day celebration for May 21.

Adults and children alike are invited to attend the event from 1 to 4 p.m. at the Nature Center at , 3305 N. Lilly Road. 

On tap: a bird walk and identification (bring your binoculars and bird books), backyard habitat information and children's crafts and activities.
