The award-winning Greater Brookfield Chamber of Commerce (GBCC) hosted its first Nonprofit Showcase on March 16, 2023, at The Sharon Lynne Wilson Center for the Arts in Brookfield and it was an outstanding success. In excess of 100 chamber members and guests registered for the event. This was a rare opportunity for non-chamber members to attend a Connect After 5.

Carol White, president & CEO of GBCC, said, “What a privilege it was to bring together so many of our area nonprofits to be able to share who they are and the services they provide to our community. Over 100 people were in attendance to take advantage of this opportunity to learn about 23 nonprofits. The feedback and stories we have already heard, from both the nonprofits and attendees, have been beyond our expectations. We’ll certainly be back next year with our second showcase as this will now be one of our signature events each year.”

Forrest Doolen, Senior Director of Marketing & Communications, for Make-A-Wish Wisconsin said, “The Nonprofit Showcase hosted by the Greater Brookfield Chamber of Commerce was a great success, bringing together the Brookfield area nonprofit community with business leaders. The exposure and relationships that were started through the event will make Brookfield and its surrounding communities a stronger and better place for all.”
