Brookfield East High Transitions To Temporary Virtual Learning

Several BEHS staff have tested positive for the coronavirus.

BROOKFIELD, WI— Brookfield East High School has transitioned to temporary virtual learning starting Monday through Oct. 23. The reason is due to the disruption of the workforce following several BEHS staff positive coronavirus cases and close contact quarantines late last week and over the weekend, according to the Elmbrook School District Facebook alert.

Staff is committed to utilizing all learning model options available in order to prioritize the health and safety of our students and staff, stabilize school operations, and mitigate risk.

“As we transition the students and staff at Brookfield East to temporary virtual learning, we remain confident in our ability to provide quality learning experiences both in-person and virtually,” said Elmbrook Superintendent Mark Hansen said. “We continue to be amazed at the flexibility and adaptability of our students and staff as we navigate the impact of this virus each week.”
