This time around, it wasn't even close.

After defeating the Arrowhead Red by a relatively close 9-6 score in a state semifinal game on Wednesday, the Brookfield girls lacrosse team had no problem trouncing Verona in the Saturday's championship game.

The team, made up of players from , and Divine Savior Holy Angels high schools, defeated Verona, 14-6, at Perkins Stadium at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater to take the high school title.
