Brookfield Movie Tavern Sets Opening Date

BROOKFIELD, WI — Marcus Theaters, which operates numerous movie theater complexes throughout Wisconsin, will be experiencing a bit of a first this Friday when the movie chain opens its first Movie Tavern in Brookfield.

The Movie Tavern, new venue that will offer guests a movie theater venue, a dining space as well as a bar, and will be located at Brookfield Square on the site of the former Sears building.

According to company officials, the Movie Tavern at Brookfield Square will include:

1. A new menu featuring different dishes such as an Asian Beef Rice Bowl, Roasted Salmon Super Salad and a Teriyaki Steak and Shrimp dish.
2. A delivery-to-seat service model throughout the entire building, where orders can be placed at the concession stand and friendly food runners will deliver direct to guests’ seats.
3. App and kiosk ordering of food, where guests that purchase tickets through the Marcus Theatres Mobile App can also place food orders.
4. The Tavern — a gathering space with or without a movie ticket. It features select, local craft beers.
5. Outdoor seating with heaters.
6. There are three magnetic, wall games inside The Tavern including giant scrabble, Tic Tac Toe and peg solitaire.

Although this new property is the first Movie Tavern in Wisconsin, it is the 23rd overall in 10 states.
