Brookfield Sendik's To Host Grand-Opening Party
Door prizes, giveaway, live music are part of the fun-and-games that will mark the re-opening of the Brookfield Sendik's grocery store.

BROOKFIELD, WI — The $5 million renovation of Sendik’s Food Market at The Corners of Brookfield is nearly complete, and will be hosting a grand-opening ceremony later this month.
According to company officials, Sendik’s will host a grand-opening celebration between Oct. 18-20, with live music, giveaways, special guests and other activities.

Friday, Oct. 18, 4-7 p.m.
Free workshop with nationally-recognized DIY expert Jenni Yolo of ISpyDIY.com. Yolo will help guests create chalk cheeseboard crafts in the store’s new mezzanine lounge. Guests can also enjoy live music from local artist Marr’Lo Parada, cheese demos, prizes among other activities.

Saturday, Oct. 19, 7 a.m., the first 200 shoppers will receive a special Sendik’s swag bag. The celebration officially kicks off at 10 a.m. when The Echoes of Camp Randall marching band leads a celebration. From 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., guests will be treated to grill specials, tailgate games, face painting, balloon creations, live music, food demos, giveaways and more.
Sunday, Oct. 20 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. the celebration will continue with games, cupcake decorating, face painting, food demos, live music from local artist Roxie Beane, and entertainment by expert pumpkin carver Marc Solomon.
