'Candy Corners Lane' Light Installation Coming To Brookfield

The Corners of Brookfield's holiday programming begins Nov. 27 and runs through Dec. 31.

BROOKFIELD, WI— It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas in Brookfield. The Corners of Brookfield announced the first-ever Candy Corners Lane, a custom light installation via giant, walk-through displays, pop-up holiday activations, according to a news release.

The display will feature over 4,000 feet of lights.

Beginning Nov. 27 and continuing through December, visitors can stroll through giant light display lanes and enjoy photo opportunities throughout Market Square, including:

  • A 17-foot tall walk-through gingerbread house
  • A 20-foot wide candy cane arch.
  • A custom selfie booth created by Madison-based Cedar & Spice.

The Letters to Santa mailbox will return on Nov. 24. New this year, all letters received by Dec. 15 with a pre-addressed and stamped return envelope will receive a special letter back from the North Pole, the release said.

Candy Cane Lane will offer weekly pop-up activations like caroling. A local Girl Scout troop will carol at 6 p.m. on Dec. 3 and the Bach Chamber Choir from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Dec. 10.

On Nov. 26, The Corners will host live music from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. with the local band Ocean Rush.

  • Habitat for Humanity will host its annual Gingerbread Build at Von Maur on Dec. 4 from noon to 4 p.m.
  • On Dec. 5 at 4 p.m. in Market Square, join Chabad of Waukesha for a Chanukah celebration, featuring a candy cane menorah.

Throughout the holiday season, The Corners will accommodate expanded shopping hours and has added additional 15-minute parking spots for ease of curbside shopping or restaurant pick up.

The town center will be closed on Thanksgiving and Christmas Day.
