City Approves Bobby's Bar Outdoor Concert For Saturday
Brookfield Common Council will let Bobby Fest take place for two different weekends.

BROOKFIELD, WI — After Tuesday's Common Council meeting, the city gave permission to Bobby's Bar to host two weekends of outdoor concerts this summer.
The first night of Bobby Fest, hosted by Bobby's Bar at 14735 W. Lisbon Road, will start this Saturday at 12 p.m.
The first event weekend will take place from 12 p.m. to 10 p.m. on Saturday and 12 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Sunday, according to city records. The next event will take place at the same times on Aug. 21-22, it added.

"Bobby's is getting prepared to host the first of two outdoor weekend parties with live music, food and refreshments," the bar said in a Facebook post.
The event will also benefit two different children's charities, according to the license application.

Here's the music lineup for Bobby Fest this weekend:
Saturday:
• Dirty Boogie Band 2:30-5:30 p.m.
• Jay Matthes Band 7-10 p.m.
Sunday:
• Dr. Woo Band 2:30-5:30 p.m.
Robert Mueler, owner of Bobby's Bar, didn't immediately respond to Patch's request for comment.
