City Plans Mosquito Treatment Friday
A consultant will treat about 410 acres of city wetlands Friday due to elevated larvae counts.

For the third time this season, the city plans to treat for mosquitoes due to elevated larvae counts.
Clark Environmental Mosquito Management, a consultant to the city, will treat about 410 acres of public wetlands and floodlands starting at daybreak Friday and through the morning, weather permitting.
By helicopter Clark will apply a biolarvicide, VectoLex CG, which the city said is a natural occurring granular soil bacterium that poses no danger upon contact.
