Craigslist Buyer Propositioned for Sex
A Brookfield woman told police she got an early-morning call from a Craigslist seller who solicited her for sex.

Brookfield police today were investigating a complaint that a Craigslist seller called a Brookfield woman early this morning to solicit her for sex.
The woman called police at 2:14 a.m. Tuesday, saying she had just received a phone call from a man who she previously had contacted about buying a Drexel saw tool he was selling on Craigslist.
According to a police report, the man asked her for sex and the woman hung up and called police.Â

Police responded to her Hayden Court home and the man called back. An officer spoke to the man but he said he didn't believe he was talking to police. He called back again and threatened the woman.
Officers were not able to immediately locate the man, who they believe to be a 31-year-old Waukesha resident facing charges for third-offense drunken driving and carrying a concealed weapon for a Feb. 16 incident.
