East Grad is National Distinguished Young Women Finalist

Patricia Paskov was selected as one of the top 10 finalists in the national competition for Distinguished Young Women in Mobile, Ala.

Brookfield East 2011 graduate Patricia "Trish" Paskov was named a top 10 finalist in the national competition of Young Distinguished Women in Mobile, Ala. 

Paskov competed with 49 other women in nationals last weekend after being selected as the Young Distinguished Woman of Wisconsin. She sung Rogers and Hammerstein's "You'll Never Walk Alone" in the Saturday night ceremony.

Katye Brock of Tennessee was selected as the Distinguished Young Woman of America for 2011 and received a $40,000 cash scholarship.

At Brookfield East, Paskov participated in many extracurricular activities including Student Council, International Thespians, Link Crew and National Honor Society. She played soccer and performed in the Chamber Choir and school musicals.

Paskov plans to study international relations at the University of Wisconsin - Madison.
