The EEF held the 1st Annual EEF Scholarship Night on Monday, June 2nd at the Sharon Lynne Wilson Center for the Arts. During this event, 66 scholarships, totaling over $100,000, were awarded on behalf of our generous donors to graduating Elmbrook seniors. Over 350 students, family members and scholarship donors enjoyed an evening of celebration and special recognition.

“The EEF is so thankful for the businesses, community members, PTO’s, honorariums and memorials who invest in the future of our students. Whether attending college, university or technical school, these scholarships make an incredible impact on our students’ education,” said Beth Dobrzynski, Elmbrook Education Foundation Executive Director.

Throughout the early part of 2025, a scholarship committee made up of community and board members read and evaluated over 200 scholarship applications through a blind read process. Chosen recipients show a commitment to their education, a sincere desire to serve others, and/or the ability to overcome challenges to reach personal goals.

EEF was organized in 1958 to award scholarships to select Brookfield High School graduates. In 1999, the Foundation's mission expanded to include teacher grants for innovative projects that benefit all students and raise money to support and strengthen outstanding learning ideas that improve the overall educational quality of our public schools. EEF has awarded over $1,700,000 in scholarships and over $845,000 in grants which enhance and extend the established curriculum and support projects that are beyond the district’s budget.
