Elmbrook Education Foundation (EEF) Hosts 11th Annual EEF Golf Open, presented by Toyota of Brookfield.

More than 200 golfers came together for a day filled with golf, community, and purpose—all in support of the LAUNCH program in Elmbrook high schools. This year’s event exceeded expectations in every way: record-breaking sponsorships, an overwhelming number of silent auction donations, and a turnout that made it our most successful Golf Open yet.

“The success of our 11th Annual Golf Open is a true testament to the power of our community. With nearly 200 golfers, the generous sponsors, dedicated volunteers, and the incredible contributions from our LAUNCH students and local businesses, this was our most successful outing yet. We’re proud to support the LAUNCH program and grateful to everyone who made this event a success,” said Stephanie Huff, EEF Golf Open Chair.

Three LAUNCH students played a key role in the planning and execution of this event, working closely with Stephanie and Executive Director Beth Dobrzynski throughout the spring semester. Their responsibilities included reaching out to past and current mentors to invite participation and donations, writing personalized thank-you notes, assembling activity packs, researching local events for insights, and supporting event marketing via social media, press releases, and video content.

EEF was organized in 1958 to award scholarships to select Brookfield High School graduates. In 1999, the Foundation's mission expanded to include teacher grants for innovative projects that benefit all students and raise money to support and strengthen outstanding learning ideas that improve the overall educational quality of our public schools. EEF has awarded over $1,700,000 in scholarships and over $845,000 in grants which enhance and extend the established curriculum and support projects that are beyond the district’s budget.
