Elmbrook Education Foundation (EEF) Hosts Boos & Ghouls Night Out

Elmbrook Education Foundation (EEF) Hosts 4th Annual Boos & Ghouls Night Out, presented by Soerens Ford

The Elmbrook Education Foundation (EEF) hosted the 4th Annual Boos & Ghouls Night Out, presented by Soerens Ford and in partnership with The Corners of Brookfield and Discover Brookfield, on Thursday, October 17th. Over 400 attendees and volunteers enjoyed a night of wine samplings and food tastings as they strolled The Corners of Brookfield, many in Halloween costumes.

“Discover Brookfield is thrilled with the turnout at this year’s Boos and Ghouls event,” said Anna Antoine, Town of Brookfield Tourism Director. “The community came together in full spirit to support the Elmbrook Education Foundation, enjoying great wine, delicious food, and the fun, festive atmosphere at The Corners of Brookfield.”

Over $40,000 was raised (before expenses) to support the EEF’s staff recognition and appreciation events. These events include the sponsorship of the Engaged in Excellence awards banquet, Most Influential Educator dinners, “Welcome Back” baskets, and Thank You Thursday, in partnership with The Corners of Brookfield.

“A special thank you to the participating tenants at The Corners of Brookfield, our partners, volunteers, attendees, sponsors and donors! Because of you, we are able to show appreciation to the wonderful staff at the School District of Elmbrook for all they do for our students,” shared Beth Dobrzynski, EEF Executive Director.

EEF was organized in 1958 to award scholarships to select Brookfield High School graduates. In 1999, the Foundation's mission expanded to include teacher grants for innovative projects that benefit all students and raise money to support and strengthen outstanding learning ideas that improve the overall educational quality of our public schools. EEF has awarded over $1,700,000 in scholarships and over $845,000 in grants which enhance and extend the established curriculum and support projects that are beyond the district’s budget.
