The award-winning Greater Brookfield Chamber of Commerce (GBCC) will host its second Nonprofit Showcase as an added bonus to its March Connect After 5 on March 21, 2024, 5:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at Whirlyball, Brookfield Square, 185 S Moorland Road, Brookfield, WI 53045. This is also a rare opportunity for non-chamber members to attend the popular Connect After 5.

Carol White, president & CEO of GBCC, said, “Twenty-plus local nonprofits will be in attendance to share their mission and service in our community. If not for them, who would do the work that is being done in so many different areas? Come and learn and be inspired by all that is done by nonprofits and maybe, just maybe, you may find an organization you are passionate about and able to devote some volunteer time.”

Nonprofits participating so far are Beyond Vision, Blessings in a Backpack, Discover Brookfield, Elmbrook Education Foundation, Elmbrook Senior Taxi, Flight to the North Pole, Gals on the Go Project, Immanuel Lutheran Church, School, Child Care, Make-A-Wish Wisconsin, Sharon Lynne Wilson Center for the Arts, Shepherds College, United Performing Arts Fund (UPAF), Women & Girls Fund of Waukesha County. Nonprofits in our region may reach out to Carol White at the Chamber to learn more about participating in this annual showcase.

“The Connect After 5 and Showcase is the perfect opportunity for members of the business community who are not members of the Brookfield Chamber to experience one of our signature networking events and to learn about 20+ community nonprofits that need our support. Last year’s Showcase had 100+ members and guests,” continued White.

Thank you to our presenting sponsor, Whirlyball, and gold sponsor Horicon Bank. Advance registration with payment is required for this event. Registration is $15 for Brookfield Chamber members, and $25 for non-members, walk-ins, and the general public. A percentage of the proceeds will be given back to the non-profit organizations.
