House Cleanout Service and Estate Sale Company Opens Brookfield Office
Treasured Estates and Cleanouts helps customers manage and dispose of accumulated possessions left by loved ones who have moved or died
Brookfield, Wis. – An older relative is downsizing their living arrangements, and decades of accumulated possessions need to be addressed. Or, a death in the family has left survivors with a house or apartment full of the late person’s belongings, which must be dealt with before the property can be sold or rented. What to do?
Treasured Estates and Cleanouts, a locally-owned and -operated house cleanout service that promises “Cleanouts With Care,” has opened in Brookfield to assist people facing these challenges. Having conducted more than 50 cleanouts since its 2019 founding, the woman-owned estate sale company assists customers uncertain about how to handle the belongings left by a relative’s passing, or a family member’s moving.
Unlike so-called “junk removal” companies, Treasured Estates and Cleanouts doesn’t view the leftover items as garbage destined for a landfill. Rather, after consultation with the family, its professionals carefully sort goods watching for photos, heirlooms and personal documents to be returned. The remaining items are given new life through donation to charitable organizations, or dispersal via the company’s sales channels.

“Our approach is to treat every possession with respect, knowing that it once belonged to a person whom our customer cared about,” said Mindy Farrell, owner of Treasured Estates and Cleanouts. “If you look hard enough, you can find others who will reuse items. We do so, both to minimize waste and provide comfort to our customers. They deserve to know that someone is benefiting from their loved one’s belongings.”
Treasured Estates and Cleanouts also conducts estate sales, providing “A to Z’ service from organizing items, to pricing, to removing unsold goods. Families earn money, and are relieved of the substantial burden of disposal.
