Jazz Festival In Brookfield To Require Proof Of Vaccination

BROOKFIELD, WI — A one-day jazz festival in Brookfield will require attendees to show proof of having the COVID-19 vaccination or a negative test.

The Fresh Coast Jazz Festival Fall Affair takes place on Oct. 9. at the Sharon Lynne Wilson Center for the Arts, 3270 Mitchell Park Drive.

The festival will require the following.

  • Patrons must show proof of a final vaccine dose at least 14 days prior to the event.
  • Alternatively, patrons must show proof of a negative COVID-19 test within 72 hours of the event.
  • Proof of full vaccination can be an actual vaccination card, a photo of a vaccination card, a digital passport or other digital record containing the name of the individual and vaccination dates.
  • A patron's identification must match the name on the proof of vaccination.
  • Proof of a negative test can be in the form of a digital negative test result that matches the ID of the patron or a printed negative test result.
  • Results from at-home tests must be accompanied by a receipt showing that the test was purchased within 72 hours.

Masks will be strongly encouraged but are not required at the event.
