July 4, 2022: See Fireworks And Events Near Brookfield

BROOKFIELD, WI — Make up for lost time at this year's Independence Day celebration with a trip to the zoo, by attending a baseball game or watching Brookfield's big fireworks show at Veteran's Park. Patch has put together a guide to fireworks and festivities near you in 2022.

Here are fireworks shows, parades and festivals happening in and around Brookfield so you can start planning now.

Here's what's in store for July 4:

City Of Brookfield Parade And Fireworks

The city parade starts at near Gebhardt Road and Oak Grove Road around 9:30 a.m. and moves west to Norhardt Road and Civic Drive, the City of Brookfield said in a statement. The annual parade usually ends between 11:30 a.m. and 12 p.m.

Family Fest kicks off at Mitchell Park at 6 p.m. and ends at 9 p.m., the city said. The event offers food and entertainment before the fireworks show.

Fireworks light off at Mitchell Park around 9:17 p.m., the city said in a statement.
