BROOKFIELD, WI — Make up for lost time at this year's Independence Day celebration with a trip to the zoo, by attending a baseball game or watching Brookfield's big fireworks show at Veteran's Park. Patch has put together a guide to fireworks and festivities near you in 2022.

City Of Brookfield Parade And Fireworks

The city parade starts at near Gebhardt Road and Oak Grove Road around 9:30 a.m. and moves west to Norhardt Road and Civic Drive, the City of Brookfield said in a statement. The annual parade usually ends between 11:30 a.m. and 12 p.m.

Family Fest kicks off at Mitchell Park at 6 p.m. and ends at 9 p.m., the city said. The event offers food and entertainment before the fireworks show.
