There are limited government services in Nicaragua for special needs children, so this is a great need being filled in the community. The church has supported the mission for many years, and this fundraiser is to specifically build a new classroom building.
Brookfield Christian Reformed Church traces its beginnings to 1939 and is celebrating its 83rd year in 2022. Head pastor is Peter Verhulst, and associate pastor is Young-Kwang Kim. Services are at 9:30 a.m. Sundays. Brookfield Christian School is loosely associated with the church.
