Police Report: Bar Patrons Mocked Smoking Ban Enforcer

Latest police calls include a Craigslist iPad theft, dog bite, car break-ins, grass fire and complaints about the skate park.

A patron at Sabella's Pub and Grill was not happy when several others started smoking in the bar.

When he asked them to put out their cigarettes, citing the state's ban on smoking in restaurants and public places, "they ridiculed and mocked him," according to a police report.

Police were called to Sabella's about 10 p.m. Saturday but found no one smoking. They reminded the bartender about the state law.
