Police Report: Dirt Bikes and Dogs Mating

The latest police calls include a flurry of animal complaints, as well as dirt bike noises, employee theft and sewer backup.

As Wisconsinites throw open windows for fresh air and sun, two Brookfield residents say their peaceful evenings have been marred by loud dirt bike noises.

An Oak Hill Lane resident told police Wednesday that every evening from about 3 to 6 p.m. she hears dirt bikes operating without mufflers. Another resident said it has been an ongoing problem.

Police warned a homeowner who said it could be her son or her daughter's boyfriend. They were not home. Officers said if the problem continues, citations will be issued.
