Temporary Speed Limit On Calhoun Road In Brookfield

The signs announcing the new speed limit were posted on Sept. 13.

BROOKFIELD, WI — A temporary speed limit of 20 MPH is in place in the construction zone on Calhoun Road, between North Avenue and Capitol Drive.

The speed limit went into effect Sept. 13, according to the City of Brookfield.

The road is still closed to all traffic other than those who have a specific destination on this portion of Calhoun Road or on Morningview Court or Pheasant Drive.

All other destinations are considered through traffic and are prohibited.

The road closure and speed limit signs will be enforced.

Construction will be completed in spring 2022.
